Naluada College Institute was founded in 2005 with a simple but profound conviction: that quality education should be accessible, relevant, and transformative. What began as a small vocational training centre in Kampala has grown into one of Uganda's most respected tertiary institutions.

Under the visionary leadership of our Directress, Naluada Haggai, the institution has continuously evolved — expanding its programme offerings, upgrading its facilities, and deepening its partnerships with industry and government to ensure graduates are equipped for the realities of today's world.

Today, we serve over 2,400 students across more than 15 accredited programmes, guided by over 48 qualified lecturers, all united by the belief that every student deserves the opportunity to reach their highest potential.

A Message from the Directress

"At Naluada College Institute, we do not simply teach — we transform. We build people who are not just employable, but who are empowered to employ others, to lead, and to contribute meaningfully to Uganda and Africa."

When I founded NCI, my dream was straightforward: to create a space where every young Ugandan could access education that was dignified, rigorous, and relevant. Over the years, I have watched thousands of students walk into our classrooms uncertain of their futures — and walk out as professionals, entrepreneurs, and leaders.

That transformation is the reason I wake up every morning. It is why our staff give their best every day. And it is why I can say with confidence — the best of Naluada College Institute is still ahead of us.

Our Journey

A Legacy in the Making

2005

Foundation

Naluada College Institute was established by Naluada Haggai with 3 programmes and 120 students in a single building in Kampala.

2008

National Accreditation

Received full accreditation from Uganda's National Council for Higher Education, validating our academic standards.

2011

Campus Expansion

Opened our dedicated IT & Computer Lab wing and expanded to 10 accredited programmes across multiple disciplines.

2015

1,000th Graduate

Celebrated a landmark milestone as our 1,000th graduate received their certificate — a proud moment for the entire NCI family.

2019

Industry Partnerships

Established formal partnerships with 12 leading organisations in Uganda and East Africa for student internships and graduate placement.

2025

20 Years of Excellence

Celebrating two decades of transforming lives, with over 2,400 active students and a thriving alumni network of over 8,000 graduates across East Africa.
